Signs & Screening

The things you've been quietly keeping track of.

Every child develops differently. These signs don't confirm autism. They're often the reason parents start looking for answers.

1

Under 18 months

Limited or no babbling, not responding to their name by 12 months, little to no pointing or reaching to share interest

2

18 months to 3 years

Delayed or regressing speech, limited eye contact, repetitive movements, strong preference for routine

3

3 years and older

Difficulty with back and forth conversation, trouble reading facial expressions, intense narrow interests, sensory sensitivity

Recognising any of these? A screening call or the FRAT test are both low-commitment ways to find out what's actually going on.
